Little full, lotta sap!

On Black Friday, we avoided all major shopping areas, met up with Luke's family for some donuts and hot coffee, and made our way out into the snow for some good ol' Griswold Gill family fun!

The Christmas tree farm we chose this year was perfect. Out in the country with great trees to choose from and paths to pull the little ones on the sleds! Marleigh was hilarious on her sled. She kept reaching out to try and eat the snow and managed to topple out quite a few times! She was such a good girl and had a lot of fun walking around picking out our tree with us! I am loving how much fun she is lately, and I'm so excited for this Christmas with her!

We found our perfect tree (with a little help from Luke's dad) and Luke got to work sawing it down. Marleigh was a good little manager, supervising daddy's work while she took a break and enjoyed a little freshly fallen snow.

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree...! It's a beaut, Clark! This long-needled beauty is currently sparkling bright in the corner of our living room, and we have been busy sniffing in all of its' piney goodness all weekend long! Happy December, friends! It's the most wonderful time of the year.
